Hi, I’m Nina Wodzinska, and this is my co-pilot, Tully.

I got Tully while I was still a student, and she kicked off my obsession with all things dog.  Back then, having a flexible schedule meant I could take her for walks myself.  We would spend hours together exploring local parks, trails and neighborhood streets, and bonding with each other in the process.

After I graduated, I didn’t want to leave her alone for the whole day while I went to work.  Luckily, I didn’t have to: I found a job working for a dog walking company in Toronto, which meant that I could bring Tully with me to work every day!  Eventually though, I grew dissatisfied with walking large groups of dogs.  I found myself wishing that I could give each dog I walked the same level of individual attention that I gave Tully on our walks together.

I started Tully & Co. because I wanted to create the kind of dog walking company that I would hire to walk my own dog: a company that prioritizes individual attention, safety, and a humane approach to working with your dog.  I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all style of walking.  I believe that each walk should be a fun, positive and rewarding experience that is just right for your dog.  I tailor each walk based on your dog’s energy level, temperament and individual preferences, and I am committed to using only force-free, positive-reinforcement based training techniques to encourage good behaviour.

I am always striving to increase my knowledge of dog training and behaviour to be the best walker I can be.  I have taken classes here in Toronto at When Hounds Fly, and I have completed the Karen Pryor Academy’s Dog Trainer Foundations Course.  I also read every book and article about dogs that I can get my hands on.  Dogs are my passion, and I am so grateful that I get to spend every day doing what I love.
